Convenience for Customers and Control of High Traffic Areas

Types of Automatic Entrances

Power operators doors are available in various configurations.  The locking hardware can be integrated into your controlled access system.

The most common type of power operated entrance is the fully automatic sliding entrance.  They require more space than typical entrances.

Sliding doors are not prone to wind damage and are designed for a high cycle rate.

Bi-fold automatic doors may be used when space for sliding doors is not available.

‘Low Power Operators’ are attached to swing door frames and used instead of typical door closers.   These require a 120 volt power source, but swing the door slowly when activated by a push pad.  The operators re-open when encountering resistance.  Most can be configured so they are activated by a slight opening of the door leaf.

Low power operators can be sequenced for vestibules.

‘High Power’ swing doors have a center pivot operator hidden in the door header.
